The series resonant intermediate frequency induction furnace adopts IGBT intermediate frequency power supply. IGBT intermediate frequency power supply is a new type of IGBT inverter module, mainly used for melting carbon steel, alloy steel, cast steel and non-ferrous metals. IGBT intermediate frequency power supply has the characteristics of fast heating speed, energy saving and environmental protection.
As a constant power supply, the IGBT intermediate frequency power supply can achieve full power output even if a small amount of metal is added, and it remains constant, so the heating speed is fast. The series resonant transformer is adopted, and the voltage of the transformer is high. All IGBT intermediate frequency power supplies are more energy-efficient than SCR power supplies. The IGBT uses a frequency control system to adjust the frequency. The rectification part includes a full-bridge rectifier, an inductor and a capacitor filter. Therefore, the IGBT intermediate frequency power supply produces very few low-order harmonics and low grid pollution.
The IGBT intermediate frequency power supply saves 15%-25% of power compared with the thyristor intermediate frequency power supply. The main reasons are as follows:
1.The inverter has high voltage, low current and circuit loss, which can save 15% of electric energy. The power of the IGBT intermediate frequency power transformer is 2800V, and the power of the traditional thyristor intermediate frequency power transformer is 750V, the current is reduced by four times, and the line loss is reduced.
2. High power factor, the power factor is greater than 0.98, and the non-power loss is small. This part saves 3%-5% of electric energy compared with the thyristor intermediate frequency power supply. The IGBT adopts full-bridge rectification, and the rectification part does not adjust the conduction angle of the thyristor, so the power factor of the whole process is greater than 0.98, and the non-power loss is small.
3. The heat loss of the furnace body is small. Under the same power condition, the IGBT is 15 minutes faster than the thyristor in each batch. The heat loss at the outlet of the road accounts for 3% of the whole process. Therefore, this part saves 3% energy compared with the thyristor intermediate frequency power supply.
