On September 24, 2017, the 2017 Maker China's first "Smart Chip Design and Application" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. The event was guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and hosted by the Information Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Jialing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. The theme of the special competition is "Gathering and creating 'core' resources to help the 'core fire' plan". The competition focuses on the fields of "development hotspots, difficult issues, specialized key technologies and innovative products" in the chip industry. It is understood that this special competition is a national-level event, focusing on discovering chip design and application projects in the fields of industrial Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing, information services, medical health and artificial intelligence.
